Michele is absolutely right!! This is one of the most versatile Mustards that I have ever had the pleasure of cooking with. I even know some one who puts it on Cheetos, and calls it supper

  3. Michele says:

I love Blackwater’s Hot &Sweet mustard. You can use it to spice up soups ,stews, cold chicken salad, rub on pork roast before roasting, on salmon fillets. You name it you can use Blackwater mustard on it or in it. It almost gives food a delicate flavor.

  4. The Curator says:

The Grand Champion of the 2011 World-Wide Mustard Competition is Daddy Cook’s Exotic Ginger Curry Mustard from California. Mrs. Mustard created a Chicken Curry recipe using this mustard and it’s on the site (click here for recipe).

Chef Rod from Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse in Middleton, WI, made a curried chicken, rice and beans dish with pineapple for his entry in the Iron Mustard Chefs Challenge on Friday night and it was delicious. Hope to have that recipe for you soon on the site and in Mrs. Mustard’s Blog.

  5. Brooke Sehenuk says:

I was wondering who the overall winner was this year?

  6. Lia Draper says:

The Garlic Festival Garlic Jalapeño Mustard (as well as their Sweet & Spicy) have been my favorites for a long time. I can’t live without them. THE BEST! Congratulations!

  7. Paul E. Meyers says:

    Dear Curator,
I’m pleased that Plochman’s Premium Yellow won the Gold medal in Category #12: American Yellow Mustards. It has always been my favorite. Now I just have to get started trying all the winners that I haven’t already sampled.
