Tins, tins, more tins!

The Original Spice Girl

This Teen Queen mustard tin dates back to the late 1950s or early 1960s. It is one of more than 300 antique mustard tins in the National Mustard Museum.

Find an old mustard tin at a yard sale? But how old is it? If it has a zip code on it, it can’t be older than 1963, when zip codes were first instituted. “ZIP” is short for “Zone Improvement Plan.”
