An Ideal Day

The weather was perfecto on National Mustard Day, but we knew it would be. Only two days before, we received a sign that it would ideal for our annual tribute to the King of Condiments — this stunning antique tin – IDEAL MUSTARD – from the long defunct S.J. Wines Coffee Company of San Diego, California (see below).

The POUPON U Accordion Band got things rolling on the Grey Poupon Music Stage, followed by the Evan Riley Band and the Red Hot Horn Dawgs. The Duchess was in her glory and everyone loved Frenchy. Culver’s sold out of its Chocolate Cherry Mustard Custard and is considering making it a regular flavor for all of its restaurants.

Thanks to our sponsors, our volunteers, our staff and the more than 6,000 mustard lovers who came to Middleton to make National Mustard Day 2016 the best ever.
