At long last, the results of the 2016 World-Wide Mustard Competition are in. Tabulated and cross-checked by the accounting firm of Shredd’m & Deny, these are the official results from the long and arduous process that challenged the palate of more than one hundred mustard tasters.
The Grand Champion is yet to be determined. A new panel of judges will be tasting the 18 Gold Medal winners over the next week. — UPDATE: The 2016 Grand Champion was chosen and Boetje’s Stone Ground Mustard became the first Gold Medal grainy mustard to take home the WWMC “best of show”.
Unfortunately, some of the winners are not available for sale (yet) through the Mustard Museum website or the Museum Gift Shop. We will have a limited number of all winning mustards to sample at our Salute to the Winners Open House, Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1 (10am to 5pm). Winners currently available for sale have an item number following the name of the mustard that you can click on to purchase. Those not available have an “N/A” after their name.
