Steak in Peppercorn Mustard Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Slimm & Nunne Maple Peppercorn Mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dry white wine or dry vermouth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 boneless strip steaks, 10 oz each
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Dry steaks well and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Pre-heat grill. Grill steaks for 4 minutes each side for medium rare (about 1"-thick cut). Remove and cover with foil.
  3. Add wine and heavy cream to a saucepan. Boil over medium-high heat until reduced by half.
  4. Turn off heat, stir in mustard. Spoon sauce over the steaks and serve.
