Hello Faye! The Toasted Onion and Sauvinon Blanc Mustard is great on any kind of burger–beef, turkey, veggie. Its smoky background flavor and the crispy onion pieces make it a yummy addition to egg salad. And, try adding a tablespoon or 2 to your pan juices after roasting a pork loin (or tenderloin). Mustard is a wonderful emulsifier, so it will blend into the juices and turn them into a delicious sauce!
Unfortunately, the Toasted Onion and Sauvinon Blanc Mustard has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but we are hoping they will continue making some for us in the near future. In the meantime, if smoky and onion-y are flavors you like, try the Terrapin Ridge Smokey Onion Mustard or the Food & Wine Smoky Garlic Onion Mustard, both yummy and in keeping with the flavors of the Toasted Onion Mustard by Grapevine Trading Company.
Would like some recipes as to uses for Toasted Onion and Savignon Blanc Mustard. Can it be used as a rub? Picked up jar when visiting but neglected to remember any use. Live in Tucson and purchased a few varieties.
