The Curator loves fish. As a native New Englander, he grew up with fresh fish every Friday. His mom, Minnie, made the best haddock, halibut, and swordfish. When the future Curator and his dad, Jimmy, went fishing they would bring back buckets of fresh flounder, and Minnie would always cook it perfectly. Looking back, there’s only one thing that would have made it even better: mustard.
Jimmy is gone and Minnie hasn’t made fish in years but the Curator and Mrs. Mustard can’t resist fresh fish with the perfect mustard. Dill mustard on salmon is a natural but just about any fish shines when paired with the right mustard. Here are some mustards that are sure winners for your next fish dinner:
- Norman Bishop Dill & Garlic Mustard (NBP102)
- Willamette Valley Dill Mustard (WVM100)
- Edmond Fallot Provencale Mustard (EFL109)
- Vilux Tarragon Dijon (VLX103)
- Delicae Gourmet Black & Green Olive Mustard (DCA125)
