Praline Sweet Potato Casserole

Praline Mustard Sweet Potato Casserole

At the heart of this casserole are tender, velvety sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed to creamy perfection. Dr. Pete's Praline Mustard Glaze, with its rich praline sweetness and a hint of zesty mustard, elevates this classic side dish to new heights. Adapted from Dr. Pete's own recipe. Serves 6 to 8.

Ingredients

  • 6 cooked sweet potatoes, peeled and mashed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/3 cup Dr. Pete's Praline Mustard Glaze
  • 1/3 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with an electric beater.
  2. Pour into a greased casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
  3. During the last 5 to 7 minutes of cooking, drizzle additional mustard glaze and chopped pecans over top of the casserole and finish cooking.
