These golden crêpes are a fusion of simplicity and sophistication, crafted with just a handful of ingredients including Slimm & Nunne Habanero Horseradish Mustard, eggs, water, flour, and a touch of butter. Makes 6 crêpes.
Ingredients
- 1 jar Slimm & Nunne Habanero Horseradish Mustard
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp chopped chives or other herb (optional)
Directions
- Put eggs, water, flour, and mustard in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and mix in chives.
- Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Melt butter until hot but not smoking.
- Ladle a 1/4 cup of the mustard batter into the skillet. Tilt and rotate the skillet to spread batter. Cook about 30 seconds until set.
- Flip and finish the second side, about 20 seconds.
- Remove to plate, continue cooking remaining batter.
