Savory Mustard Crêpes

These golden crêpes are a fusion of simplicity and sophistication, crafted with just a handful of ingredients including Slimm & Nunne Habanero Horseradish Mustard, eggs, water, flour, and a touch of butter. Makes 6 crêpes.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Slimm & Nunne Habanero Horseradish Mustard
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives or other herb (optional)

Directions

  1. Put eggs, water, flour, and mustard in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and mix in chives.
  2. Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Melt butter until hot but not smoking.
  3. Ladle a 1/4 cup of the mustard batter into the skillet. Tilt and rotate the skillet to spread batter. Cook about 30 seconds until set.
  4. Flip and finish the second side, about 20 seconds.
  5. Remove to plate, continue cooking remaining batter.
